A Beginning Apprentice, (1st term Apprentice) starts at 50% of the Journeyman Pay Rate that is applicable for the particular job he is assigned to.  To advance to the next Term the Apprentice has to complete 2 Units of Training plus have completed 750 Work Hours as listed below.

    1st Term:        50% of Applicable Scale                    5th Term:        75% of Applicable Scale

    2nd Term:        55% of Applicable Scale                    6th Term:        80% of Applicable Scale

                    2 Units + 750 Work Hours                                                        10 Units + 3750 Work Hours

    3rd Term:        60% of Applicable Scale                    7th Term:        85% of Applicable Scale

                    4 Units + 1500 Work Hours                                                      12 Units + 4500 Work Hours

    4th Term:        65% of Applicable Scale                    8th Term:        90% of Applicable Scale

                    6 Units + 2250 Work Hours                                                       14 Units + 5250 Work Hours

                                      JOURNEYMAN:        100% of Applicable Scale

                                                                16 Units + 6000 Work Hours
